Nirvana- Nevermind (1991)
Nevermind is the second studio album by American rock group Nirvana released on September 24, 1991. The album has been certified 10x Platinum in the United States, Diamond in Canada, and 4x Platinum in the United Kingdom. The album charted at #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart and reached #7 on the UK Albums Chart.

Nevermind includes four singles-- "Smells Like Teens Spirit," "Come As You Are," "Lithium," and "In Bloom." Other notable songs on the album include: "Lounge Act," "Drain You," "Breed," and "Polly." Nirvana's second album contains most of the group's well known songs by pop culture and has been listed as one of the greatest albums of all time by magazines such as Rolling Stone Magazine and Time, as well as having an enormous influence on bringing alternative rock music to a mainstream audience, as well as influencing the grunge scene.

Notable of the album is that it is Nirvana's first album to feature drummer Dave Grohl, who went on to form the rock band the Foo Fighters after the dissolution of Nirvana as the guitarist and vocalist of that band. Foo Fighters have went on to become on of the most popular bands in rock of the past twenty years. Although tragic, it would have never happened if it wasn't for the 'death' of Kurt Cobain. Note that I did not say 'suicide,' because anyone who has analyzed the facts and the data can conclude that it was a homicide. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you like, but it's what I believe.
