Led Zeppelin- Led Zeppelin IV (1971)
Led Zeppelin's fourth studio album is officially untitled but is commonly referred to as Led Zeppelin IV, as the band's previous three albums were all named Led Zeppelin one through three. The album was released on November 8, 1971. Led Zeppelin IV has been certified 23x Platinum in the United States, 2x Platinum in Canada, and 6x Platinum in the United Kingdom. The album peaked at #1 on the UK Albums Chart and at #2 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

Led Zeppelin IV included 2 singles with B-sides upon its release: "Black Dog"/"Misty Mountain Hop" and "Rock and Roll"/"Four Sticks." Other notable songs on the album include: "Stairway to Heaven," "When the Levee Breaks," and "The Battle of Evermore."

Notable of the album is that it is the 3rd highest selling rock album to date in the United States. Also, the album is one of the best selling albums in the world at an estimated 37 million units sold. Led Zeppelin IV was initially recorded at Basing Street Studios in London, England at the same time as the recording of Jethro Tull's album Aqualung. However, the band moved to Headley Grange at the recommendation of rock group Fleetwood Mac where Led Zeppelin would go on to record for several years at.

Led Zeppelin IV's release date is also the basis for the "71" in my username JPageFan71 as the album has been my favorite Led Zeppelin album for years. The "JPage" of course stands for Zeppelin's guitarist Jimmy Page.
